DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a 5-week Winter Gaming Series at Goatz Sportz Cardz! Every Wednesday night\, we’re bringing the energy with competitive play\, community vibes\, and serious fun – all hosted right in the shop. \nEach week features a different hands-on card challenge where participants compete for Gold\, Silver\, and Bronze placements\, earning paper “medals” that become entries toward Grand Prize drawings. At the end of the series\, we’ll draw a random medal from each box to determine our winner. Each winner will be receiving a 2026 Topps Chrome U.S. Winter Olympic & Paralympic Team Hopefuls item. \n\n1st Place = Hobby Box\n2nd Place = Value Box\n3rd Place = One Pack\n\nThis event is all about fun\, sportsmanship\, and community — whether you’re a seasoned collector or just getting started. Participants may attend one week or all five\, but the more you play\, the more chances you earn to win. \nGAME 1: FASTEST RIP\nObjective:\nOpen all packs as quickly as possible without damaging cards. \nFormat: Individual \nRules: \n\nEach player is given the same style and number of packs\nTimer starts on the word “GO”\nPlayers may not pre-tear packs\nTimer stops when all cards are removed and placed face-down on the mat\nCards must remain undamaged\n\nPenalties: \n\nDamaged cards = +5 second penalty or disqualification (staff discretion)\n\nWinner Determined By:\nFastest official time \nEvery Wednesday beginning February 11\, 2026 – March 11\, 2026 beginning at 8:00pm. Some purchases are require to compete.
